Clayton Christian Fellowship

Clayton Christian Fellowship is an independent evangelical church that meets each Sunday at Spring Meadow Community Centre, Clayton-le-Woods, Lancashire. We are not part of any denominational grouping but are affiliated to the Evangelical Alliance and involved in the activities of the Leyland and District Evangelical Churches Group

What we believe

AUTHORITY OF SCRIPTURE

  • That the Bible as originally given is the fully and uniquely inspired Word of God and is the only infalible and authoritative rule in all matters of faith and conduct.

 

TRINITY

  • That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit and in the sovereignty of God in creation, providence and redemption.

 

PERSON OF CHRIST

  • In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His death, His bodily resurrection and ascension, His personal return in glory.

 

WORKS OF CHRIST

  • In the substitutionary sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which He made full atonement for the sins of all mankind. Man is made right with God solely by grace through faith in Christ.

 

HOLY SPIRIT

  • That the Holy Spirit continually indwells the believer, enabling him to live a Christ-like life.

 

RESURRECTION

  • In the resurrection of all men, and the judgement of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ, resulting in eternal Life with God for the saved or eternal separation from God for the lost.

 

CHURCH

  • In the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ who comprise the universal church, of which our Lord Jesus Christ is the Head.

Service Times

• Every Sunday – 10:30am
Family Service – with various leaders and occasional guest speakers. We have a great time of corporate worship, fellowship, and growing in God’s Word!
Please join us for refreshments at the close of the service.

• Every Tuesday – 7:30pm
Prayer and Bible Study in the home of one of our church members. All are welcome to join us on Tuesday evenings as we gather for Bible study, build relationships, and learn what the Bible has to say about our lives.

• Once a month on Sunday – 10:30am
Communion Service – with various leaders and occasional guest speakers. This is a wonderful time to renew, remember, and refresh the covenant that was made with us by the Lord Jesus that His body was broken and His blood shed that through Him and His sacrifice, you and I can be forgiven of our sins, have eternal life, and be called sons and daughters of God!
